Dr. Karin Jongsma is associate professor of bioethics at the Julius Center of the UMC Utrecht and an expert in the ethics of (bio)medical innovations. She leads a research group that focuses on the ethical implications of digital medicine, artificial intelligence and regenerative medicine. Her work focuses on how collaboration between doctors and AI affects medical decision-making and what that means for responsible care innovation.
